Help a Child to Trust Again
By making a $125 donation you can help the Australian Childhood Foundation ensure abused and neglected children can learn to trust again. Children who are abused or neglected are robbed of the feeling and experience of being safe. Extreme trauma makes it incredibly painful and difficult for these children to trust any one.
The counselling support we provide directly to children can create for them a new experience, a new relationship, one that allows them to develop the ability of trusting another person. In the specialised trauma counselling that the Australian Childhood Foundation does, children learn how to feel safe in new relationships with adults who care about them.
