Tinkerbell and her friends
Anahera (18 months) and Aroha (5 years) with Peter Pan and Tinkerbell
There was glitter and fairy dust as far as the eye could see when Village Cinemas in Hobart recently held a family fun day in conjunction with its showing of the new Disney movie, Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure.
Inspired by Australian Childhood Foundation ambassadors Kim and Dave's appeal on radio Heart 107.3, Village wanted to support the work of the Australian Childhood Foundation - particularly at a time when our new Child Trauma Service was being established in Hobart.
Children got into the spirit of the day, dressing up for the occasion and having a wonderful time making glittery gerbera wands, digging into delicious food and having their photo taken with Dave, before gathering to watch the movie.
Our heartfelt thanks go to Village Cinemas, the Faerie Shop in Salamanca, Dave Noonan and the Heart 107.3 crew, and all the volunteers who created such a magical day.
